In anticipation of Canadian Nuclear Laboratories’ (CNL) announcement of the exciting results of their Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEOI) on small modular reactors (SMR) in a report later this week, the CNL team will be answering your RFEOI and SMR questions following the announcement LIVE on Thursday, October 19 at 10:00 Eastern during a free Nuclear Energy Insider webinar.

Members of Canadian Nuclear Laboratories’ SMR team will be answering all your RFEOI questions LIVE on Nuclear Energy Insider’s webinar entitled: The Future of SMR Deployment in Canada.
Here’s just some of the exciting news they’ll have to share and discuss:
  • CNL has identified SMRs as one of seven strategic initiatives the company intends to pursue as part of its Long-Term Strategy, with the goal of siting an SMR on its Chalk River site by 2026
  • CNL recently hosted a stakeholder roundtable, featuring Kim Rudd, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Natural Resources, the event also welcomed operators, developers, regulators, government officials and supply chain representatives to a global discussion on the obstacles and opportunities in deploying SMR technology
The team at Nuclear Energy Insider are also delighted to announce that we are partnering with CNL for the March 2018 SMR and Advanced Reactor Summit in Atlanta, working together on the brand-new Canadian track, hosting another industry roundtable and much, much more.
